So if you notice, I got the 3.5mm audio splitter that has a white plug and a red plug. I am guessing it has to be a setting somewhere.

It doesn't work in a game (fortnite), it doesn't work in windows speech-to-text recognition (used to test voice record), and it does not work in sound>recording>microphone settings (photo below) - BUT again, it is recognized. However, although the computer now recognizes the headset as speakers, and also recognizes the microphone in the sound settings - I am getting no sound input through the microphone. I bought THIS SPLITTER (PLEASE CLICK LINK TO SEE) I finally got a 3.5mm female to 2x 3.5mm male audio splitter, so that I'd be able to split my headset and my headset microphone into the PC. So, I posted this thread about a month ago.

I've tried installing the same headset manufacturer's drivers for other pc-headset products they offer, but they are GUI-based and won't recognize my headset to proceed with installation.ĭoes Realtek really own the market for PC audio?
